How We Maintain a Safe Kids Camp Toronto families Trust
Experienced Camp Team
Our team includes experienced staff members who are trained in CPR & First Aid, love working with kids; and enthusiastic to support children through active games, martial arts themed activities, crafts, and life-skills workshops.
Camper-Staff Ratio
Evoke uses an approximate 6:1 camper-staff ratio to help ensure each child receives attention and support. Once a camp week exceeds the required ratio, that week may close to new registrants.
Age-Appropriate Groups
Children participate in activities designed for their age, motor skills, development, and ability level. Whenever appropriate, younger and older campers are separated into smaller groups so each child can stay engaged safely.
Beginner-Friendly Instruction
No previous martial arts experience is required for Evoke day camps. Although camps will be introduced to the world of martial arts, it’s also not an entire day of “karate”. Activities are designed to be safe, fun, and beginner-friendly.
Public Health Awareness
One of our operational values at Evoke is that we are neat, clean, and make our environment better. We follow public health guidance for our camps, and keep health and safety at the center of camp operations.
Scheduled Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Designated pick-up parent or guardian must be clearly communicated to the team. Early drop-off begins at 8:45 AM and official camp hours run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Complimentary aftercare is also available until 5:00 PM.
